CO Alarm Internal Battery - Black
A Carbon Monoxide (CO) detector should be installed in each accommodation space. Small crafts or RV's with an open design may require only one (1) detector for adequate protection. If two (2) or more sleeping areas or spaces are partitioned, then one (1) detector should be installed in each of the spaces.
The Fireboy-Xintex CMD6-M Series CO alarm uses a sensor operating with a microprocessor to measure Carbon Monoxide (CO) levels. Using a Time Weighted Average (TWA) process, it monitors CO concentration, temperature and time to calculate levels of Carboxyhemoglobin (COHb). COHb is the degree to which the oxygen carrying capacity of the blood is impeded by the union of carbon monoxide to the hemoglobin and as expressed as a percentage. The human body absorbs CO easier than oxygen and COHb is the ratio absorbed carbon monoxide to oxygen in bloodstream.
The CMD6-M alarm calculates the COHb as function of time and determines the appropriate alarm response.

The Fireboy-Xintex CMD6-MB-BR Carbon Monoxide (CO) alarm provides reliable, compact protection for your recreational vehicle or small craft. Designed with a microprocessor-controlled sensor, this alarm measures CO levels using a time-weighted average process, monitoring concentration, temperature, and duration to assess risk accurately. Its advanced technology calculates the Carboxyhemoglobin (COHb) percentage, indicating how much CO has been absorbed into the bloodstream, which is critical for early detection and safety. The alarm features a long sensor lifespan of approximately 7 years, ensuring dependable performance over time. Its compact design allows for inconspicuous installation, making it suitable for various interior spaces. The internal battery model uses maintenance-free lithium-metal batteries, eliminating the need for wiring and reducing installation costs. The device's alarm horn emits a loud 85 dBA alert at a COHb alarm point of 10%, ensuring occupants are promptly notified of dangerous CO levels. The unit is highly resistant to chemicals, solvents, and cleaners, making it ideal for environments where exposure to such substances is common. Its small footprint allows easy integration into confined spaces without compromising interior aesthetics. This CO alarm is essential for each accommodation area, especially in open designs or partitioned spaces, where multiple detectors may be necessary to ensure comprehensive protection. The device does not support interconnectivity but offers reliable standalone operation for peace of mind during travel or stationary use. Built to meet safety standards, the Fireboy-Xintex CMD6-MB-BR delivers long-lasting, maintenance-free CO detection, safeguarding life and property in your RV or boat.
