DST800 Nylon Thru-Hull N2K NMEA2000
The DST800 is a Smart TRIDUCER Multisensor that offers the depth, speed, and temperature functions in one compact thru-hull fitting. The low-profile, retractable sensor computes accurate depth, speed, and temperature data and sends it to any NMEA 0183 or NMEA 2000 display or network.
AirmarsSmart Sensorshave embedded microelectronicsthe transducer element and signal processor are only millimeters apart. The signals from the sensors are processed right inside the housing itself. All that is needed to receive depth, speed, and temperature data is a single cable into a compatible network or display.
The wide, port-starboard, fan-shaped beam is able to find the bottom even when installed on a high-deadrise hull or a heeling sailboat.
Features:
- Depth, speed, and temperature in one compact housing
- 235 kHz frequency prevents mutual interference with other echo sounders on the vessel
- Depth performance from 500 mm to 185 m (1.6 to 600)
- The wide, port-starboard, fan-shaped beam can find bottom even when installed on the high-deadrise hull or heeling sailboat
- The fast-response temperature sensor provides 0.2C (0.1F) accuracy
- Available as a Smart Sensor at 235 kHz or an analog output sensor operating at 200 or 235 kHz
- Available in NMEA 0183 or NMEA 2000 standard
- Choose plastic, bronze, or stainless steel housing with a water valve
- NMEA 2000 certified or NMEA 0183 cable
The Airmar DST800 Nylon Thru-Hull NMEA 2000 Multisensor is a compact, high-performance device designed to provide accurate depth, speed, and temperature readings. Its smart TRIDUCER technology integrates microelectronic sensors and signal processors within a single housing, ensuring reliable data transmission through a single cable to compatible NMEA 0183 or NMEA 2000 displays or networks. This streamlined setup simplifies installation and reduces clutter while delivering precise, real-time measurements. The wide, fan-shaped beam pattern ensures consistent bottom detection even on high-deadrise hulls or when the vessel is heeling, making it ideal for sailboats and other vessels with challenging hull geometries. The DST800 operates at 235 kHz, which prevents mutual interference with other echo sounders, and offers a depth range from 1.6 feet to 600 feet, accommodating a broad spectrum of marine environments. Its fast-response temperature sensor provides accuracy within 0.2°C (0.1°F), ensuring precise environmental data for navigation and performance monitoring. Available in multiple housing materials—plastic, bronze, or stainless steel—and with a water valve option, the DST800 is versatile for various vessel types and installation preferences. It is NMEA 2000 certified and compatible with NMEA 0183 standards, providing seamless integration into existing marine electronics systems. Whether used for recreational sailing, fishing, or commercial applications, this multisensor offers robust, reliable performance in a compact form factor, enhancing situational awareness and operational efficiency aboard your vessel.
