B164 Bronze Thru-Hull - 50/200 kHz - 1 kW - 12 Tilted Element - Requires Mix Match Cable

20 tilted version for 16 to 24 hull deadrise angles. Step up to a 1 kWwithout a fairing! The 1 kW, flush-mount, Tilted Element transducer is perfect for fast, trailered vessels that cannot accommodate a High-performance Fairing. The flush-mounted, bronze housing extends less than 6.35 mm (1/4) below the hull so that it can sit on trailer rollers and bunks. The ceramic arrays are tilted within the housing, providing a perfectly vertical beam with maximum energy at the point directly below the boat.

Features:

  • Depth and fast-response water-temperature sensing

  • 1 kW of power

  • Dual-frequency elements:

  • 50 kHz with a wide 22 beamwidth for depth performance to 549 m (1800)

  • 200 kHz with a 6 beamwidth for depth performance to 244 m (800)

  • Interfaces to any 600 W or 1 kW echo sounder

  • Engineered for center-console and trailered boats

  • Low-profile bronze housing extends less than 6.35 mm (0.25) below the hull

  • No effect on the boats running performance

  • Available in a stainless steel housing (SS164) for use in all hull materials

  • Patented Xducer ID technology

The Airmar B164 Bronze Thru-Hull transducer is engineered for reliable performance on fast, trailered vessels that require efficient hull integration without compromising speed or maneuverability. Featuring a low-profile bronze housing that extends less than 1/4 inch below the hull, this transducer is specifically designed for boats with deadrise angles ranging from 16 to 24 degrees. Its 20-degree tilted element ensures a perfectly vertical beam, providing maximum energy concentration directly beneath the vessel for accurate depth and temperature measurements. This design makes it ideal for center-console and trailered boats where space and hydrodynamics are critical factors. The B164 offers dual-frequency operation with a wide 22-degree beamwidth at 50 kHz for deep-water performance up to 1,800 feet, and a narrower 6-degree beam at 200 kHz suitable for shallower depths up to 800 feet. Equipped with a 1 kW power rating, this transducer delivers fast, responsive readings for fishing, yachting, and recreational navigation. It interfaces seamlessly with any 600 W or 1 kW echo sounder, making it versatile for various marine electronics setups. The transducer includes built-in water-temperature sensing and patented Xducer ID technology, ensuring compatibility and ease of installation across different systems. Constructed from durable bronze and featuring a urethane acoustic window, the B164 is built to withstand harsh marine environments and provides consistent performance whether installed in fiberglass or wood hulls. The included 6.5-foot cable allows flexible positioning and connection options. Designed for vessels up to 36 feet long, the B164 transducer is a reliable choice for boaters seeking high-quality depth and temperature data with minimal impact on vessel hydrodynamics.
