B164 Bronze Thru-Hull - 50/200 kHz - 1 kW - 12 Tilted Element - Requires Mix Match Cable
12 tilted version for 8 to 15 hull deadrise angles. Step up to a 1 kWwithout a fairing! The 1 kW, flush-mount, Tilted Element transducer is perfect for fast, trailered vessels that cannot accommodate a High-performance Fairing. The flush-mounted, bronze housing extends less than 6.35 mm (1/4) below the hull so that it can sit on trailer rollers and bunks. The ceramic arrays are tilted within the housing, providing a perfectly vertical beam with maximum energy at the point directly below the boat.
Features:
- Depth and fast-response water-temperature sensing
- 1 kW of power
- Dual-frequency elements:
- 50 kHz with a wide 22 beamwidth for depth performance to 549 m (1800)
- 200 kHz with a 6 beamwidth for depth performance to 244 m (800)
- Interfaces to any 600 W or 1 kW echo sounder
- Engineered for center-console and trailered boats
- Low-profile bronze housing extends less than 6.35 mm (0.25) below the hull
- No effect on the boats running performance
- Available in a stainless steel housing (SS164) for use in all hull materials

The Airmar B164 Bronze Thru-Hull transducer is designed for reliable performance on fast, trailered vessels with hull deadrise angles ranging from 8 to 15 degrees. Its 12-degree tilted element ensures a perfectly vertical beam, maximizing signal energy directly below the boat for accurate depth and water-temperature readings. The low-profile bronze housing extends less than ¼ inch below the hull surface, making it suitable for trailer rollers and bunks without impacting vessel performance. This transducer supports dual-frequency operation at 50 kHz with a wide 22-degree beamwidth for depth performance up to 1,800 feet and at 200 kHz with a 6-degree beamwidth for detailed shallower readings up to 800 feet, making it ideal for leisure, yachting, and fishing applications. The unit interfaces seamlessly with any 600 W or 1 kW echo sounder, providing versatile compatibility across different systems. Its durable bronze construction and urethane acoustic window ensure longevity in various marine environments, while the patented Xducer ID technology simplifies setup and calibration. The transducer's 2-meter cable offers flexible installation options, and its compact design prevents interference with vessel operation or performance. The B164 is also available in stainless steel housing (SS164) for use with all hull materials, providing added versatility. With a maximum vessel LOA of 36 feet, it is suitable for a broad range of recreational boats and center-console vessels. The transducer supports depth and temperature measurement functions, contributing to safer and more efficient navigation and fishing experiences. Engineered in the USA, the B164 bronze thru-hull transducer is a dependable choice for boaters seeking high-performance, dual-frequency sonar capabilities in a compact, low-profile design.
